Does targeting high paying ads trigger a CPM effect ?

I notice that when I try YPN targeting on a lot of my sites for non related, but high paying ads, sections etc, my CPM drops a LOT right away, anyone else notice this ?

I actualy earn a LOT less by using targeting, when I target high paying ads. Is this because advertisers that buy CPM campaigns usualy look over your site first and see what types of ads your showing ?

Are you sure it's not just because of the drop in CTR because your visitors are being shown ads they aren't all that interested in?

I think, it's because of drop in CTR...CTR is part of the ECPM equation
