I have just checked that at one of my hosting the pages are indexed in a funny way. Google shows all the pages in search results, but puts them additionally funny ending, like: page.php?PHPSESSID=9e2884a64c683c9a810ea13f6096d5 I think that's not very nice, since this ending changes from time to time. What can I do to avoid it, probably it is a SE bug?
You must set your PHP backend to remove session IDs when Googlebot is crawling your site, this is a script bug not a SE bug.
I see.. should I ask my hosting provider to do that, or I can use it myself, for example in .htaccess file?
Please explain what do you mean by I should rewrite my urls? I just put usual php files in the html, like "page.php", and they transform into "page.php?PHPSESSID=9e288.."
I agree too... Especially if it's dynamic one... You can url-rewrite for it or change it or just remove it...
AlexV, its because of the script you are using. It is using GET to post your session id to your domain name. You can either change this to POST or use something like MOD_rewrite to adjust the URL. Check with your hosting company to find out what they support. Then do a few Google searches. Its the best way to learn.
I'm using DNN for some of my sites. there extension is .aspx no numbers except the tab ids. Free choice of rest in the url. The site does do well with google.co.za, which is what I want.
