    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it really helps to boost my traffic and websites rankings on google if I write say... 20 or 50 unique articles related to my website on EzineArticles.com?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Yeah that's true, but actually what I'm wondering is just how good backlinks are they really and also if the article itself can bring me targeted traffic?

Of all of the low quality link building techniques (blog commenting, directory submission, forum signatures, article submission, etc.) I think that article submission provides you the most bang for the buck. The backlinks you build through article submission are guaranteed to be from relevant pages with the targeted keyword text.

The main problem w/ article submissions (and blog commenting, forum signatures, etc.) is that once the article gets dropped off of the New Articles page for that particular section of the articles site, it loses a LOT of punch... because it has lost it's most powerful inbound link (from the New Articles page) and can only be found deep down in the article site's archives. Sometimes articles eventually get deindexed if they didn't get any inbound links while on the new Articles page which means that article will no longer be passing your site ANY SEO benefit... So the effectiveness of all of these low quality link building techniques tend to decay over time which require you to continue to build more and more links just to maintain current rankings/PR.

It's a good idea if you have the time to do a little extra link development, own other relevant sites, etc. to also build a couple backlinks on other sites pointing to the submitted article... This will help it remained indexed and give it a little extra punch.

So you create some content (article or blog post) on your own site... Submit an article to eZine or some other article submission site pointing to your article or blog post on your own site... Then build links to the article submission site article.... C --> B (article submission) --> A (your site). If you submit multiple articles (B, C, D for instance) to multiple sites pointing back to your post (A) on your blog, then B-->A, C--> A&B, D-->A&C (and possibly B)... etc.

A lot of companies like Hubshout build a farm of blogs, small article sites, etc. for JUST this purpose... So when they submit an article to eZine for a client, they can throw additional links to both the submitted article AND the client's site using their OWN article submission sites, blogs, etc.

Yes.. pretty much.. a lot of persons are reading articles in EA.. you will be able to view how many persons have viewed your articles and have clicked on your links.. there you will be able to know if you article is interesting enough or not.. As for backlinks, definitely! For every article you submit where your link is included, each would count as a backlink..

yes it helps.I have seen websites reach 3th page only because of ezine article submission[contained over 600 submissions].competition is 5 million. It could easily be brought to position 1 by a few more links - but i think that webmaster doesnt know about SEO.So there are no actions to increase the rankings. The only intention of submission was just traffic but it has helped in SEO too.

There are numerous articles being added on ezine and it is not sure that you will get traffic to your website or viewers to your articles. The thing which is considered most is quality. Emphasis on quality than quantity.
