Does somebody use a Meta Tag Generator?
I'm not sure, if it's a good idea to use same stuff for sites. Please, I'd like to know your opinion on this.

I write my meta tags manually. If you have user generated content, it won't be possible otherwise they should be written manually for every page.

Do you mean meta description or meta keywords?

Meta keywords are not used very much anymore.

As for the meta description - Negative, I do not use a generator for my meta description.

I know my targeted nitch. So I will look at my competitions meta description and how they rank in google search results. If one site ranks well with good keywords in their description, I will take that and mix it with another site that is ranking well.

I think you should write your description and keywords meta on your own. It doesn't take that much time.

Really, many thanks for your answers.
I've figured out not using that generator.

Never. It is better to write you own so that the text string matches your SEO strategy for that page.

using generators is fine as long as you look at the code for accuracy before you post it into your webpage. I suggest that you at least include the following in your meta tags... keywords (no stuffing, only 5 or 6 per page), description (less than 160 characters and include your top 3 keywords), index (index all or no index), author (personal name or business name) this is useful in cases where people search for you.

Yup, do not avail this kind of services or use any tools that generate meta tags :) Manual editing of tags is still best for SEO.
