It's just a couple of lines. Google will award your article more because it is longer. If he had stolen the whole thing and then added some more, Google could treat him as the originator. That's sometimes how it works.

He should of at least given you a link to the source. Did anything ever come of this and was this guy dealt with?

Ummmmmmmm....this is stupid.... The info you provide in your article is medical info that was reserched by someone other than yourself. You reworded what the Doctors have said thus not giving a resource or link back to where you got your info.

Not trying to be an ass or anything but its really really nothing at all. Maybe the guy should of given you a linkback for the words of someone else that you rewrote but you yourself almost have done the samething because you didnt do the research to come up with these facts. You yourself read them and didnt give credit to where you got the info...

What comes around has gone around......List your resources and it might not happen again.

    Just my opinion.

While I understand your point, I may have used a statistic but I never copied them word for word from a medical journal. If for example if I was to write about the 50 states of the USA then I am merely quoting a factual statistic that there are 50 states, but at least I'm not copying quotes straight out of some book someone wrote about the USA.

So, no, it's not the same thing and the person who made that spammy post on SitePoint should not have copied a part of my article.

Dude its not like he made a complete copy of your site and just changed the url and claims it as his own.

He's selling some domains and found the info on your site to be GOOD and would help people relate to what he is selling.

I mean with all the crap going on in the world today this is petty. Im sure one of our soldiers deployed in Iraq wishes he had your problem.

He didnt make a site with your info ok ?? He did nothing more then probably did a search and found your site.

Your being ignored by Sitepoint cause they think its just as minor and ridiculous as I do.

Like I said before Im not being an ass just being realistic and Im sure MANY MANY members here would agree even though they havent said so.

I would truly hate to see you if something bad really happened....

    This is nothing ok......

    Again Just my opinion.

Okay, yes they've taken words from your article and used them without your permission. At least it wasn't an ENTIRE article, though. If SitePoint hasn't made any attempt to contact you, I would cut your losses and move on.

By the way, PGZ, your arguement about soliders in Iraq is pretty irrelevant to the topic at hand.

Maybe to you its not but to me its is....When you look at the big picture this is nothing. When you open your eyes to the world around you this is so small its not even really worth whining over.

Being a Medically retired Gulf War Vet that was injured while in Iraq YES it is relevant.

As I said before......Many soldiers there would LOVE to have his problem.

Sorry you feel the way you do.

Well good....We agree to disagree. You find it irrelevant and I find it relevant.

You got your opinion and I got mine. But But But

The people in this country are able to have that opinion because of the guys and gals that are willing to give whatever it takes to keep this Country Free.

    Something to ponder over.

She's right, PGZ. It's ridiculous to dismiss any problem a person may have as petty simply because somebody somewhere else has a larger problem.

Maybe I shouldn't pay my rent this month. When my landlord bangs on the door I'll calmly explain that more than 3,000 African children die each day from malaria, and that he shouldn't worry about such a minor issue as rent.

I'll then be able to congratulate myself on being technically correct while I tuck myself in to sleep on the back seat of my car ;)

Nah man, that's not it at all. Actually, I don't assign myself to any political affiliation. I just don't understand why people have to bring irrelevant matters into simple things, all of the time.

Look Denise you may not find it relevant at all which is cool cause you didnt say it.

As I stated before we all have our opinions and thats all they are is opinions.

Im not here to argue over this. It is a stupid thing to argue over.

I have agreed that we disagree and have tried to let this go but you continue to bring it back to life each time I do so. You even have Knights in Shining Armor coming to your defense.....LOL

I made my comment cause I find the posters complaint so ridiculously minor and if anything he should be happy people have found his site and have even used a paragraph if that from it.

I made my comparison and thats all I did...Ok so you dont see it the way I do.....Thats cool not everyone does its to be expected..

As I have said like 3 times now. I agree to disagree and this should be over. You cant change my mind and Im not going to try to change yours.

Done and over in my book.

Are you cool with that or shall we just continue around in another 2 or 3 circles ??

Simply because something is an opinion doesn't automatically mean it should be respected. That's not the point of free speech. A guy came here with what he felt was a valid problem and you insulted him. You may have the freedom to express your opinion, but everyone else has the equal freedom to disrespect it and call it ridiculous.

That's made even more likely when you come out with something like this:

*posted before seeing your last post - let's call it a day*

Sorry I have to post this......

How many times do I have to say it is my opinion ??????????????????????

You have yours and I have mine so let it be at that.........

For the LOVE of God how many more time must I state this over and over.

I have never ditched anyones opinion nor atacked anyone for having an opinion until I was by the comment of "Patriotism at its best, folks"

Now I have counted myself out of this 4 times now but yet it continues.

I made a Political Forum for these type of exchanges not here ok..

    Its DEAD OVER DONE.

    I Love you Both ok....LOL:D
