I just added a simple site translator to my blog.. Do you think it will attract more non-English visitors? Any experience with translators?

    Thanks

Silver, site translators would probably be helpful only on sites with lots of contents- articles, essays, history and stuff. Personally, I have never used one.. Never made anything for non- english users.

But site like ezine, wiki should be having one inbuilt :D

one -ve point is.. unless you use fairly simple and normal english, you wouldnt get an accurate translation.

I agree with inaccurate translation... anyway, I think its better. Though translation is not perfect, non-English speakers still have options..

I've experimented with them - as cicero said, the translations tend to be a bit ropey, but can give some help to people - but, I found people will use either babelfish or google translation off their own bat if they're interested enough - though that might depend on the sort of site.
