Any tip on image SEO? Is PR of the site that contains the image important for the Google Image SERPs?

How many visitor do you get from Google Images?

IMG tags don't have a title attribute, just ALT (right?)

For image search results, as ssandecki said, make sure you name it accurately, and describe the image well with ALT=" "

Images can also use the title attribute as well.

yes its recommended to also use both alt and title tag on images if you want more exposure from google images.
