If yes, please advise the person who can register the site about internet marketing in them. Or may be advise the soft which can do it. The site has no links for now, but the domain is not young.

As owner of the directory, yes but to get better ranking results, no. Atleast I don't think it's worth the time spending on it.

Thanks! But what about article directories? Does the work? The matter is that I'd like to give the first boost and have some visibility in Google but don't have many time...

yes for good results you need unique articles and submit them on high PR article sites, you can also try squidoo to get top position in SERP.

I don't think doing directory submission is a good idea. You should go for other means of link building such as quality guest posting and more.

If you are looking at ranking it's only a waste of time and resources.

And if you want to increase your traffic you have to sort through the list to find one with lots of traffic daily and have your site listed.

Directory listings and article submissions do still have a benefit, but this is a relatively small benefit really.
In the grande scheme of things, SEO has changed a lot this year.

For quality back links which is whats important, you need to be creating quality content.
Integrating a blog with the site will become one of the sites biggest assets.
You then need to be looking at engaging in social media and promoting the content on your blog.

Basing your link building strategy around creating high quality content and tactical link building with great content will be far more beneficial.
It requires more work, but in today's arena of SEO, its quality back links that count not quantity.

There's loads of ways you can publish great content on high PR sites for quality back links, guest posting, forums and some social media sites are do follows, not all are no follows.
Digg, Reddit, Squidoom HubPages and Foursquare are just a few places that love great content and either allow links in the content or at least allow a link in your profile back to your site, my advice is begin with integrating a blog, do a some research and build out from there.

I didn't focus on directories anymore, should concentrate on quality of content instead of.

Yes they work if you list your website link on good and well edited directories and avoid the spammy ones.

Agree with you, when articles directory doesn't works, you may try to get traffic and backlinks from web 2.0. PM me if you want more information.

    Cheers,
