Does Signature Links work?

Hello Guys,

I have saw alot of people buying SIG links. But for what does they buy these links? Do they get traffic from it or they get backlinks or .....?

I am also interested in buying, so before i buy, lets see what people say.

Yes they work. SE bots spider these pages and follow most links they can see.

 

My blog got indexed on alexa like that within 3 days since I started it. I am hoping it will get indexed on google as well in the same manner. I think it works.

 

Signature link help but just a little because they are signature links, they are often not from related sites and they are not from text.
They can bring some traffic, and they are good because of anchor text.

@sahel, sig links are the links that can be seen at the end of people's posts...

Yes they do work especially from sites like DP forums, which get spidered regularly.

DP also generates some sweet traffic.

 

I dont get that much traffic from the links, i think you really need related forums to get traffic, for instance i doubt that many ppl here are intrested in Artificial Intelligence or investing, how ever if i used my sig over in an AI or investing forum I would get far more traffic from that, which i will eventually do once Im happy with my SEO. However if your links here are direcotries or a SEO site, you will get good trafic from this forum

The user with sig needs to be relatively active and interest people in their sig links.

 

on sites like DP they work,some forums have hacks installed to make signatures invisible to search bots.

 

They are good if you have alot of post's. The SE's do index these pages and will see your links...Also, as stated above, they give you anchor text which is great..All-in-all, they can't hurt

 

They will work, not only for search engines because some people clicks on signatures and you've got visitors. So, signatures are good whenever relevant.
