does signature increase affiliate sales

    i have seen everyone having signature so i thought it increase web traffic but up till now i am not getting estimated traffic i need even though my signature is there.

    If you want your signature to generate traffic,

    1. Edit it so the grammar is correct. If English isn't your first language, have someone edit it for you.

    2. Don't use a tinyurl link... sometimes they're untrustworthy. Do you have your own domain name?

    I sometimes click the link in the footer if the person seems to be interesting (i.e. making interesting posts) and the link seem to be interesting.

    I shall add the footer myself .. one of these days... I just need the interesting URL to link to! :)

    Like said above, grammar is extremely important. No shorting like "u are 2 be...". With the spell checker in the browser there is no excuse to write bad English! :)

    So... even if you don't understand the language, at least, spell correct! :)

    Signature didn't brings much visitors, its just the habit people don't like to let their signature empty or link free :)

    Well... Of-course it depends. But if you have the URL in the footer, at least the possibility to traffic is there in comparison with no URL in the footer! :)

    Like mine...

    Actually, I have never had the URL in the footer in any forum in my life, and I've been in the "forum business" (various kinds) since 1995. I never have the footer in email letter as well.

    It's also the good place for advertising to friends and others, as the reminder. But I never find something clever to write...

    A domain costs as little as 2 USD.

    A website is a business. If you're trying to MAKE money online, you have to INVEST money... even only $7 or $8 can get you a domain name and decent hosting.

    I highly, highly recommend you have your own domain name if you're in affiliate sales. Even a .info will work.

    Signatures on dofollow forums helps a lot on my link building work.It is free and index by google.You can start with high PR forums or related forums to be more effective.
