Does showing Image ads provide better earning than text ads?

Just wondering, if I choose to display only image ads, does it provide better earnings than text only ads?.

 

it depends on your sites layout, but i'd suggest using a little bit of both.

Image ads may be a little more irritating if you have many images on your site. Text ads can be blended in your site if you do right and do not really look like ads. Text ads would be best for content/article related websites.

 

For me, selecting both works best. Let Google decide what they want to show.

 

I use combiniton of both. However, the text ads get more clicks. You can track it using channels.

 

Best way is the test them yourself, beacuse no body can predict how well this ad types are going to do in your site. It also depends how people act when they come to your site (do they look for information or they are just goofing around).
