Does seocompany.ca help directories? Any traffic stats available by those listed on!!

So bob, sent me another email after few months, with the offer to have listing of my directory www.h-log.com, i wonder why people just ignore www.sbclansite.com (but thats different story and needs another thread )

Basically what i want to know is that those listed here :

Like www.ask-dir.com and others can provide me with any traffic stats from the same ? Cause i am more interested right now at traffic than a crazy pr 3 backlink with like 0 Pr juice anyways .

I am sure other directory owners got the same email so little insight on benefits if any from a link from seocompany.ca would be good or not ?

 

I can tell you that they do send traffic to your site. I advertised with them for over a year and traffic was good. However, the offer they are submitting just does not sound fair or worth it. Maybe if it was 50 credits with them taking 10 listing at regular price (50% discount is crazy) I might be interested. The 10 listings would need to be paid up front first though.

 

maybe if they didnt send 'spam" like emails to me i may would consider them

 

Yaa 100 premium listing makes my head turn, and yes the 50% discount i am not too sure is worth getting. But i might throw bob some offer in return lets see if he is interested. I would rather go with 75% discount for first 20 premium sites, than offer 50 free premium for every 20 sites they get listed in my directory and ofcourse the free link (hmm. not free, its like worth $1200+) too on their site.

 

well the thing is it is not worth it ... i had idk listed in there.... i was in the middle of the deal and i backed out when i thought it over because 100 free listings .... with no time limit ... bob said we want 100 free listing ... (It can take 2 years who knows) because i experienced that with sbdesigns.info (very slow submission service) and than it didn't send me much traffic. All it did was backlink thts all.. Bob left my links in there and it was very kind of him to do so. Thats all

 

I have put my offer on bobs plate lets see if he likes it, no way am i going to offer %50 discount at any cost, unless matt cutts offers me some position at google lolz than i might think otherwise.

 

I also keep on receiving offers from them - but none of them sounds good..

 

i accept their offer only for 1 directory as a try...i want to see the result .

 

The price seems way too steep

 

My site Qoobe Web Directory is listed there and they send me some traffic.

 

I got a mail from them again yesterday.

Yeah 50% discount is crazy.If they were going to submit 100 sites at regular price,I'd be glad to give them 100 free listings.

 

I sent Bob a counter offer a month ago and no reply. LOL

 

oh well just shows that bob does not like to bargain

Im trying to figure out a fair way off adding paid and free directories to the lists
at biz-giant as im sure that it will send traffic But havent figured out how to do it just yet.

I received the same Email several weeks ago. They do ask a LOT to get listed on their site, and Bob is a very hard bargainer! Ive had several conversations with him before i finally decided to take their offer.

Resons for me to take the offer were not the submissions Bob will do himself ( he submits once or twice a week)
But mainly becourse of the traffic ( wich is not great, but he sends dayly hits) and the exposure for my relatively new Directory: I figured the list gets scraped by other SEO companies, so youll get some indirect exposure.. This ofcourse is hard to track, so its hard to say if its worth it..

As far as exact traffic from them: I cannot give any numbers. Im using a free version of statcounter wich only records the last 50 or so referers, so i dont have the exact numbers of the traffic they send

 

well i guess then he is emailing everyone. I did counter offer and made a deal with them.

 

Oh so bob does listen at times, lets see if he listens to my counter-offer

 

I haven't received any e-mail for offers regarding my directories, how do I get my directories listed?

 

You really do not want to take up the offer, but will pm u the offer (if ur interested) and i am sure you will not like it in its raw format.
