Hi all, I am new to this forum and to the world of Digital Marketing too. Currently I am studying for a certificate in DM and I came across search marketing topics. I clearly understood the differences between organic search results and payed search, and related purposes. What is still not clear to me is the reason why many companies despite being on top of the organic search results (for certain keywords) still continue to have PPC for the same keywords. The result is you find the same company on the first line of sponsored links as well as the organic search. What is the purpose of that practice? I would appreciate your help
One of the may reason could be as, the organic result positions may vary depends upon the visitors IP and/or the Geographic location and the big businesses don't want to take risk loosing any customer just by relying on the organic search positions.
A company/individual will choose to pay for certain keywords. It's all in optimizing and monetizing on the keywords (cpc, ppc), getting targeted traffic, e.t.c. And the most basic reason, after getting found, converting - they have a targeted conversion ratio for the traffic they receive. That is the basis of SEO. It all becomes very interesting. I trust you will employ these methods and eventually earn from IM.
Hi in my opinion PPC is best process for keyword increasing a fast in search engine but this is paid, and SEO is a website increasing platform when ever you submit a link your link is live for all time and that is best for an using.
I have only worked with SEO. But yeah combine the two and it could be lethal.. PPC its much quicker to see results.
In simple words you can describe it as PPC is the quick way to get the top position but it is more expensive SEO is thhe slow way to get the top position but it is less expensive
Yes it is. But PPC with google needs a huge amount of investment. If you are good with keywords, you win in this gambling.
Ok for a matter of fact, with ppc you cannot gain organic ranking. ppc is just a way to get potential visitors to your website for quick selling.
In many cases for some reasons one can not rank for some specific keywords..In that case one can opted for PPC program to get potential customers..SEO results may be fluctuated from time to time, but PPC results are always the same, may be for that reason companies use both PPC and SEO for same keywords..
Well, SEO doesn't really guarantee that you will be on the number 1 spot. Using both method simply increases the chance to get visited. In case SEO fails you still have PPC; if PPC exceeds the daily budget you still have SEO. Statistically:YES; Affect Ranking:NO
Yes it is more powerful because SEO is long term process to promote website but PPC is a short term process so we can quickly acheive and at the same time seo is completely free and ppc is paid service. Here we can handle two different techniques to generate lead.
