Does selecting 'freelance journalism' as purpose code work for withdrawal?

    Does selecting 'freelance journalism' as purpose code work for withdrawal in Paypal? Move your mouse over the 'why purpose code' link in the withdrawal page. It shows that they support only 'export of goods and services' for Indian withdrawal now. Is that true? Which purpose code did you guys select?

    I chose 'Freelance Journalism" and withdrew $1761 day before yesterday. It was completed yesterday.

    Yes, I did the same. I made a withdrawal request Friday noon and by Saturday noon, the status was showing "Completed".

    Yes it will be ok no need to worry about it. They just make this system to aware RBI about payment nature. In rare case Banks will ask you otherwise they will not ask about money source.
