    Does search engine robots follow the external links:

    * in the signatures of your members
    * in the profile columns beside the posts e.g. extra text they put that shows with their posts
    * other external links inside your forum

    They do if they are "live" links. You can disable robots from following certain internal links by editing the robot.txt file, and using No follow tags for external links.

    rel="nofollow"
    Code (markup):

    Most profile home page urls are no follow some sigs are follow. I do not think google gives any Pr for sig links anymore. They do follow links but that is about it.

    They will still follow nofollow links its just they might not give these links as much value.

    Yah they follow every outgoing link in this forum, but when you apply the link condom [rel="nofollow"], it won't help that site to get a value from search engine to get ranked top.
