Does RSS Submission Build Site Backlinks?

    Hi All

    I have got a couple of questions in relation to my sites RSS feed.

    1. Are there various sites where I can submit my rss feed for link building purposes?

    2. If so, does it help build my site links up, or just my rss feed links?

    I dont think so...

    RSS submissions are mostly to give site popularity and increase traffic.

    Anything that gives your site more exposure (traffic) creates link building opportunities. The best links are the ones were people love your content and want to link to it.

    2. If there is a link to your site on an indexed page, you're fine. Remember to ping these rss feed pages to get them indexed faster.

When submitting your feed be sure to choose the correct category. Try http://rss-specifications.com/rss-submission.htm
    2. Feed Reader or News Aggregator software allow you to grab the RSS feeds from various sites and display them for you to read and use. Your link are displayed too!
    So, RSS can help you only if you have done your job befor that.
