    Ok guys,

I have a movie streaming website. It was nicely optimized hence was getting upto 50 visitors per day from Google alone..

I didn't do any other optimizaiton techniques.. But I submitted my site to some of RSS sites..

And after 2-3 days I started getting low no. of visitors.

Is this bad practice of SEO?

And I know that my site wasn't google Dance because I was getting increased visitor daily..

    Are others getting similar problem?

    Not at all,

I don't think so that rss feeder can create any problem in the search engine ranking, you should again concentrate on your onpage optimization and offpage optimization techniques

I do not agree with you. You are thinking wrong and RSS submission does not affect anything so you don't worry about that. You can continue your submissions it will increase your positions and all

There could be some other reason of your website's traffic downfall...RSS feeds are generally used to increase the readership(visibility) of your website. Submitting feed to RSS websites have nothing to do with your website traffic downfall..:)

Yes, you guys might be right.. but RSS sites are indexing my pages rapidly. Some of the sites I got external links are indexed in Google for search results which is assigned to be Spam.

So, I am still thinking if it is giving bad effect to my site.

I am not with you rss submission is most important part to promote your site. rss feed contains all pages of your site so when rss feed cache your sites all pages links also cache so just carry on with rss submission.
