Hello guys, I just wanted to know if RSS submissions does really help when it comes to SEO(aside from the blog updates)? I mean I only knew the basics of SEO which is link building and this sounds new to me. Can anyone explain to me how does it work and what are the proper steps in doing RSS submissions for SEO purposes. Sorry for my grammar.
You want to make sure you have copyright info at the bottom of feed posts. A link back to original post on your site won't hurt either. Also, only include a snippet of the post, not the entire thing. This will discourage most copy cats. When submitting to directories...check if they have page rank. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as it is above 0. Also check the Alexa rank. Again only for a general overview of the directories traffic stats. This applies to RSS directories or normal directories. Hope this helps you or others with similar questions.
