Does revenue share vary by site?

Does the Adsense revenue share vary from site to site? Or does every site get the same % of the click?

If it varies by site, does anyone have an idea of what factors Google uses to determine what percentage you get?

No one here knows, and if they work for G, they aren't going to tell.

Uhhhh....if you mean what you see above in this forum, it's not governed by Google. It's a custom script. And it's 50% percent chance. If that's what you mean.

Regular publishers don't have any negotiation power on the revenue share issue. However, if you are a premium publisher, that is one of the flexible areas in the contract. Being a premium publisher comes with lots of perks ;)

Jen, you are always full of such good information. What other kind of perks does one get when you become a premium publisher? No need to give them all away, just a taste. :)

Premium also get many more options for ad unit sizes and styles. More support options such as account managers, some additional filtering options as well as flexibility with how your ad units are targeted, such as using hints and keywords.

If your site is at the premium level (page view requirements vary depending on your language and country) definitely apply for it :) However, just because you are at the premium level does not mean you will be accepted for it though.

Do you know if G gives all "regular" publishers the same revenue share, or is it based on account performance (or something else)?

With smart pricing it should depend on how much the advertisers benefit from your site.
