Does Reddit Still Work?

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that Reddit has changed their algorithm completely.
When I submit a link, it does not show on the "New" page, never gets a single vote....and no traffic shows whatsoever.

Please help me out here and give me a few upvotes on links submitted in my profile.
Not looking to game the system or gain votes- just wondering if the site even works any longer.

That's how it has always worked. If your article is not interesting, it will get no votes. Simple as that.

 

Well, actually at one time it automatically gave one vote from the submitter.
There is definitely something different, however.
Every link submitted should have gotten "some" kind of traffic.....submissions as of late seem to go nowhere.

So can anyone please help a little and throw a vote into a few submissions from the link in my first post?

I have another account set up to test this thing.
Doing a search came up with absolutely no postings that were made with the profile linked in the first post here....or in the second profile.
It appears that they are grabbing IP numbers of those they would rather not post there- so in essence, you can submit...but the public will never see it.
As if it doesn't exist to anyone but you!

It used to be ANY submission would get a significant amount of traffic.
These 2 profiles get nothing- nada-zip.

Reddit is definately doing something much differently these days.
