well it helps.. but like SEs algo.. it should change every now and then... like what i've noticed on some seo quiz some of the answers revealed after the quiz are not updated..
The idea is to provide a type of quiz that would be the type of things to pass to friends and colleagues. These quiz are interesting and also helps to improve knowledge but only basic knowledge its important to read more to get more about seo.

You will see some nice traffic on that quiz page, and You can capitalize the traffic with some attractive advertisements of ur products on them, or perhaps, adsense Not Only Quiz, If you get a chance to interview the Best Person in your Industry, Publish it, IT will do wonders with ur SERPS.. People massively link to it..

It definately helps BUT the key to it is to create a button that site owners can place on their page indicating their score. This will not only give you backlinks but also advertise your quiz to get more hits which in turn gets more people using the button. It can snowball on autopilot, you just need some high profile sites to talk about it or display your button to kick it off. Good luck.
Its nice, but its important to refresh it, not to look like you mede it once and forgot about it also check if the answers are realy rellevant
