Does Qs matter if there`s no competition?

    Quick question.Say i have no competition on a keyword,does quality score matter?If it does,should i go for content network?What would be the most sane action?

    Yes, it will still matter. Even if there are zero competitors, you may still end up paying $10.00 per click with a "Poor" Quality Score.

    Google sux.Does that matter that i will be able to bid 1c on the content network? Or is there like a min 5c ? :D

    Google wants their searches to find quality info/pages.

    You can bid 1 cent on the content network but it might be hard getting the traffic if you start off that low.

    Quality Score is based more on relevancy of your keywords, ads and landing pages to user searches. With Search, it may be that you don't have competition on a particular keyword, however Content is more theme-based than keyword-based so depending on the subject of your keywords, you could have more competition to appear on the sites you want your ads on. Launch a campaign and see what bid prices get you the results.
