Does providing an indexable page for a Flash site constitute cloaking?

    Hey all,

My understanding is that cloaking = showing one thing to the engines while showing different content to humans.

Flash developers I've talked to say that "Oh of course we can make you a flash site that the engines will still read! Nooo problem. We'll be generating a second version of the content that they understand to complement the beautiful page we're going to build you".

Does this practice a) successfully and truly make your site indexable? and b) constitute cloaking, as you're showing different content for different visitors?

The flash isnt gonna matter to a search engine and if your guests can see the alternate page the same as a spider then its not cloaking.
