Profile links are firstly very difficult to get indexed or "found" as you refer to it, because they have very little, if any, content, and even if you can get them regularly indexed (more difficult than you would think), they have very little power anyway. These days they are not worth it, and that's after a LOT of experiments. I hope that helps!
