Does PR transfer to a site which opens in a new window?

    Hi
    Can anyone tell me if i create a link on my site to another site which opens in a new browser window does this negate any of the pr which would be passed to that site via mine just because its in a new window and not still within the same window?
    I have heard this before but it doesnt seem true in my experience.

    it still passes PR assuming you're just using plain html to do it... if you're using some sort of fancy javascript then it might be more complicated.

    If you're talking about the target attribute (target="_blank" for example), yes is passes PageRank.

    Someone requested a link trade on the understanding i didnt use the target blank because it didnt transfer PR but i think it was more a ruse to try and get them to keep my surfer on their site..grr
