Anyone know if a pages PR affect how much AdSense pay for a click? Would a page with a higher PR earn more per click then a comparable page with a low PR?

Most of the clicks I get are .03 to.18 will that go up when when the pages PR raises? Just started using AdSense on one of my sites.

As ServerUnion said, no, pagerank does not help increase your profits. Pagerank is simply inbounds links. AdSense ads are based 100% on the content of your site. The only item that can affect your ads is changing the content. There are long lists of websites with high-paying keywords if you wish to get better keywords and such.

I would agree with all the members above. PR doesn't directly increase revenue.

However, having a greater PR (which means more inbound links) could mean you rank higher in search engine results, which means that more people visit your site and more people click the ads so . . .you would make more.

But that's a lot of factors.

In short, Google doesn't say O your page has 0PR that'll be 10 cents and o look some other dude clicked on the same ad on another site with PR 8, a dollar for you.

Wait...im sure ive heard many people say that smart pricing IS actually affected by PR.
So you might earn more if you have higher PR because smart pricing doesnt affect you as much.

I've checked a few of those sites and have optimized pages for words that are suppose to get xx.xx per click. I still only get .xx. Possible that I'm not optimizing well enough, but I seem to be getting the ads that I would expect for the words that I optimize.

I'm using the AdSense tracking on those pages so I know when they get clicks.
