Does PPC Marketing Still Works or Do you guys use other Methods?

I don't understand that how do some people actually making money with PPC. I think the competition is kinda crowded, I"m a YPN guy since "ADWORDS = WWE webmaster wrestling entertainment competition". But for YPN interestingly some of the LEGENDARY keywords don't have high competition, but instead they tend to have very small impressions = low conversions.

I'm gonna give another shot for a campaign that I'm working on, I'll let you guys know
