Does Posting Feedback Amount To Bumping

If I make use of a person's services in the BST forums and I like the service provided, can I post positive feedback/review on his/her sales thread? Or will it be considered bumping?

If someone writes a review/feedback in a thread, and there is "value" to the post (one which might help other potential buyers/sellers make their decision in using the service/product), then it will not be considered bumping, because it can be useful information for everyone.

But if the OP says "thank you", it's bumping, because there is no additional value to anyone else other than the OP.

The OP can send a PM, can provide itrader, and can add reputation to express their thanks.

Also, posts like "links are live, payment sent" are bumping, because no one other than the OP and the business partner really care, and it doesn't add value to the thread. Again, this should be a private message.

On a related note - Also keep in mind that DP is not a support forum for the sellers here. If you have customer service issues, please contact them privately rather than simply leaving feedback along the lines of "still waiting for my articles," "haven't received such and such yet," etc. (I've been seeing a lot of folks doing this). That's private business rather than feedback, and should be dealt with off-board. Try to wait until a deal is completed (or until you're absolutely certain you can't work out a problem privately) before leaving feedback in the thread or in iTrader.
