Does Post Length Matter?

I haven't been getting any clicks the past couple of days. The only change I've made is that my blog posts have been lengthier. Instead of a short paragraph or two, I've been writing posts twice that length.

Anyone else notice a drop-off in clicks when they increased the length of their posts?

I don't think this should matter really.

Me, neither. But how many visitors do you have, on average per day? It may just be bad luck...

Experiment a little more. There could be weight to this 'argument'.

Though it may only apply to you. The type of visitor you're getting.

But if you can say what you mean in less words then by all means go for it.

well did you check the ads shown when you have longer post compare to shorter ones? it could be that longer post confuses adsense algo and shows up irrelevant ads.. but a properly written long post could get you much more relevant ads too.. so you really got to check...

Thanks, guys. I looked at my blogs more closely and saw that my longer posts aren't as keyword-rich as my shorter posts, resulting in some out-of-focus ads.

Aye caramba! I've got a lot to learn about Adsense.
