I have noticed that a great deal of the directories on the net today are using the PhpLD application (Link Directory). After examining the code if this application on various sites with the installation, I cannot find any outbound links with the rel="no follow" attribute. It does not appear that the links are Javascript-driven either. What I'm wondering is how PhpLD contains PR throughout its pages. I notice that many of these directories are retaining consistent PR among the internal pages regardless of the number of links on each page. Does the Php prevent the external transfer of PR? Can a buyer rely on PhpLD to transfer PR when they buy links on this type of directory application?
Yes definitely you will get Pr from inner pages of PHPLD If the site owner does not use no follow tag
That is a big IF. Check to be sure the owner has turned off the "No Follow". I find a lot of sites where the owner has left it on (normally by mistake)
"What I'm wondering is how PhpLD contains PR throughout its pages. Huh, you could have 10000 links on one page and your page pr will be the same.. your pr doesnt flow away... it spreads.... but you get to keep the original one.. get me?
