The Meaning of Permanent adj. lasting, enduring, perpetual I dont know about you but that means forever in my mind. So can you sell links on a site and two or three days after sell the site and expect that the link buyers wont get a little pissed off? Apparently I am doing it all wrong. What I am supposed to do is squeeze people for all I can and then sell my sites to the highest bidder and then buy another site cheap and start all over. Whats that you say? Thats not cool? No, it isnt, but there is one person here doing just that. First I was told I should contact the current owner for my links... BS! I was offered a refund for links bought on two seperate sites only after I found out the sites were completely changed on my own. If I wasnt the type to check my paid links on a regular basis I might have never known. Would I have been sent a refund in that case? I think not... 60 days does NOT equal permanent!!! So my question to you is this... Is that a normal practice to do that crap and expect no one to get pissed off at you? If anyone would like to know who, just shoot me a pm...
This is why I do not believe in 'lifetime'|'permanent' links... I bought link for a precise duration, because no one can guarantee things such as permanence
My point is you dont offer perm links knowing full well that you will dump the site as soon as you can... People do change their minds about site, they have reflections in life, change their life focus, ect. In that case if you want out totally and sell your sites that one thing. But to buy a site, milk it, and then sell it time and time again is just not right. If you are going to do that you need to make it very clear that the links are not permanent.
of course that is an unethical thing to do, but you should know better than to risk buying permanent links. . . .
That is why I do not go for permanent links unless they are being offered for free. Also, I only go for links that have a guaranteed date that they will stay up- often a year or two.
