Does Paypal check processed data?

    Hey guys,

I own a website where users can create their online business. I'm currently working on adding online store functionality to memberaccounts. My service creates the productboxes and adds a paypal ' buy now' button. The user can add a product to his store and sets some values, like 'price', 'currency', 'paypal account'.

However, I cannot guarantee paypal that the paypal account exists. The member could have set as his paypal address if he wouldn't knew what to do with the 'paypal address field'. Or he could set up a small paypal account while my paypal combination requires a merchant account. Such things are most likely going to happen, I know for sure.

My question is; Does paypal check this for itself, and in what stage does it output an error message to the user? I've read the programming guide for paypal integration but I'm not getting any further.

Any further info is much appreciated! Love you long time :D

    thx!

If you set up inexisting PayPal account, the person will still pay, and the recipient will receive an email inviting them to sign up for an account to pick up the money. So the customer does not receive any error message.
