Does paypal allow adult sites?

I heard somewhere that paypal does not allow people to buy and sell adult websites. Is this true? If so why?

 

Ive never heard of that and dont know why it would make a difference. If its true, what paypal doesnt know wont hurt you.

 

You can't use paypal as payment processor on adult-related websites, but that has nothing to do with purchasing adult domain names or developed adult sites.

heck you don`t even need to have had a sale

i know one person who`s new site mentioned adult material was included in a package he was selling and before he even had a sale he lost his paypal account for it

 

paypal allows accounts for people, not websites, what that person uses the account for can be legal or not, paypal have laws to abide, and they are from state to state, country to country.
paypal can allow you to pay for sexual services in sweden, if your site is hosted in sweden, and you are not braking any swedish law, ie all girls have a 14 day medical to have ads and offer work. you have one customer that repl=orts a girl had a certificate that was 20 days old, you broke the law, so paypal has to close your account by their TOS in sweden.

 

Paypal won't allow adult sites as many countries where paypal being used won't allow sale of adult content.
