does paypal accept debit card in india ?

    PayPal India accepts only credit cards and you can't deposit funds in PayPal balance using credit card.

    You can't deposit money in PayPal using any ways. Even if you have Credit Card, you can't.

    Paypal is not accepting Indian debit cards , I have tried 3 bank's debit card and none of them worked

    i verified my bank account with paypal.
    Then Why it is necessary to add credit card to make purchase online??
    Whenever i try to pay online ,paypal forced me to first add debit/credit card.Why is it necessary??
    I think they should allow to pay directly through verified bank account(even if it takes more than 5-6 days for the purchase to be completed,people will definitely like this concept).

    What will you people think about that??

    In India PayPal will never get rights to upload funds from bank accounts as RBI is very strict with security measures. So this feature is not for Indian market atleast..

    They do say on their site that they accept debit cards, but they don't seems to.. I tried adding it a lot more times but the system showed me same error - the information entered in incorrect..
