Hi guys, one of the network i am working with send payment via payoneer, I wanted to know if i can withdraw money using Payoneer card in India? Did some research on google and read couple of threads that Payoneer is banned by RBI in India. Is this true?
Unfortunately, due to RBI regulations we cannot issue the card to India. For partners who offer , we have send payments to Indian users with our Global Bank Transfer (GBT) Service. Feel free to message me for further details.
Yes, we support the card to countries in Africa (so long as not specifically prohibited by the US government).
Also keep in mind that the Payoneer card can still be used to withdraw cash from ATMs in India, we simply can't issue the card to Indian residents.
The RBI has restricted non-Indian companies from issuing credit/debit cards to Indian residents. It's not a restriction directly related to Payoneer, it's a general one.
Yes, currently because of this restriction from the RBI, Indian residents cannot order the Payoneer card.
Hi, David, I want to Sign up with Payoneer. But I am not be able to register it since my Country India is Not in Country List. I want to know that Can I still Sign up Payoneer Without The Debit Card. Will It Possible? Since You Have mentioned in Post That Indian Users Can Withdraw Money through Global Bank Transfers.
The Payoneer card can be used at ATMs in India, simply we cannot issue a card to an Indian resident. This is not a Payoneer policy, but an RBI policy prohibiting all non-Indian companies from issuing cards to Indian residents. (so if you're travelling to India you will be able to use the card to withdraw cash while travelling) For Indian residents wanting to get paid from partners of ours, we offer direct payments to your bank account. Again, however, this would only be a solution to receive payments from partners of ours that offer the service.
I have a plastic debit card with European Bacaria account included, can be loaded with perfectmonye OKPAY, wester union, bank wire, the card has routing number
We ship cards via standard mail, so it depends on your local postal system and how they deliver mail (whether it be to your home or to your local post office branch).
Payoneer, one of the most beloved Payment service for Freelancers is now in India. To my luck it turned up just after a week since I started freelancing. I think you should definitely try it: bit.ly/PayoneerInIndia
