Does Paid Targeted Traffic Work?

I have been promoting on-line until now using solo ads, posts on forums and blogs, social media and so on.

I want to try paid targeted traffic, but I was wondering if anybody tried this and if it worked (I'm talking about those websites selling traffic).

Absolutely! If you use the right source. The least expense way to to try Pay-Per-View (PPV). I would recommend TrafficVance.com or LeadImpact.com ... but there are other PPV networks. Traffic Vance requires a $1,000 initial investment and Lead Impact is $200

Do NOT target keywords. Instead find some good URL's in your niche. The PPV networks will pop up your website on top of these URL's whenever a person types goes to that page.

This is a very elementary introduction to PPV advertising. But, again, I would say paid targeted traffic works!

 

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, you would need a bit of testing.
Now I wouldn't say don't target keywords, cause i've used that and it worked pretty well in some cases, in some it didn't.
You would have to choose keywords carefully, and track the .CPC on those keywords.

Sooner suggested 2 networks that work the best, and I've tried them both.
Traffic Vance was only for USA targeting last time I used it, while Lead Impact has a bit more international range.

Do what I do and use a very cheap traffic source that will get you traffic and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. I use AdF.ly and I love them. You can get cheap proxy traffic. You can get 15 thousands visitors for $6. Whenever I need a burst of traffic I use AdF.ly to get traffic. I will buy 15k or 20k worth of proxy traffic and spread it out over several day. I would set my daily limit to .50 per day and it will get me a constant flow of traffic.

 

It works very well! I prefer Microsoft's ppc over Google's though.

 

of course it works since so many are using it with success. with the right combination, you can have a very profitabe campaign.

it takes time however, and LOTS of tweaking to find the winner.

I would go for the PPV option suggested by "sooner"

Paid marketing can bring lots of benefits if manipulated correctly. You should try it..

 

No, paid traffic never works... Paid traffic may improve the stats of your website. But this traffic will never convert into leads. So, I am not in the favor of paid traffic, I never was.

 

Paid traffic really does work only when you can convert them into your customers.

The reason crungureanu and all of us want traffic to our site is because we want to convert them into buyers (customers that will buy from us again and again)

 

if your making more than your spending then yes paid traffic works well

 

The king of targeted traffic is "Google Adwords" if you are smart you can get targeted traffic for a cent with it. People are lazy to try this wonderful marketing tool.

If you're looking for the traffic, it is OK for you. But, if you're really looking for natural traffic then it is not the appropriate method or way to get it. Alternatively you can put some budget on other advertising platforms (PPC). For example Google (google adwords). I'm sure, you will get natural, targeted visitors to your site.
