you seem confused - or you don't know what your talking about. No one said pagerank is serp? You asked for an evidence based on a point i made about Google's opinion , now your making it look like a completely different topic in regards to it being about just Serp.. I gave you the evidence and your acting like you cant see it.. Point made - PageRank is Google's opinion of the reputation of a page and links pointing to it ( importance of those links ) nuff said. And also, if you think Google PageRank is bullshit why the hell do you have a box on the right of your old skool looking directory stating Google page rank and more interestling alexa rank. If it means nothing, why the hell you trying to display the fact you have it???
I think PR doesn't matter for SEO but it still increases your site importance for the user and site value for SE's. IF your site getting good traffic form search engines then you have 99% chances of increasing PR.
