One concludes server responsiveness and page download time are definitely a big part of the ranking. Many times I have noticed this with larger websites that if the servers get bogged down during a crawl, the ‘Google Bot’ stops crawling and comes back later. This results in less pages being indexed. You need your servers to be fast and dependable if you want it to be a trusted authority. Fast servers lead to web pages loading faster. This results in improved SEO.
also this is the era of cloud computing we can manage our servers on clouds, this will give us the more speed and fast power to access any page
certainly. I have found the websites loads slows is not having much impact on SERP. This will be the website usability factor .
This is a Ranking factor for Google now , and they recently puts high emphasis on Page speed. Check google page speed tool, very helpful tool
I seriously doubt it's a direct factor of SE placement. The by product of slow times is inefficient crawling and user dissatisfaction which can negatively affect your sites rankings.
Hi, Most of the website performance depends on the page speed so that your page should be open quickly on the servers!
Not only in Seo, but it also affect traffic to your website. A normal user don't wait more than 10 seconds to open a site, but if it is taking more time to open, definitely user will leave your site.
speed is absolutely key. we've had very similar sites previously where one had more content but loaded about half as fast (4-5 seconds till full load) as the other (a very light and fast site, 1-2 seconds to load). the second had all its 500,000+ pages indexed in 2 months and got steady 5k visitors from Google a day after ~3.5 weeks. the second one never took off and after half a year still has just over 120,000 pages indexed and gets only 400-500 visitors per day (which is a failure in our terms).
Site loading time is very important factor as user point of view also because no one like to wait more then 15 seconds to load one site.
Check out this video by Matt Cutts - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG7y87SVG6A Pretty interesting and mentions facebook widgets.
Absolutely yes. For example my izmir car hire site was slow at the beginning but now i obey the pagespeed rules then got high rank.
Not sure it affects SEO but definitely impacts ranking and traffic. Switched one large site to a new high-powered VPS, traffic increased 30 percent! Makes me wonder how much money I lost because I delayed migrating!
