On several different blogs I've heard news that the major search engines will start to introduce technology into their algorithms that will base the page load time of your site to where you're placed into the SERPS? Does anyone have any article links or inside news if this a factor or not?
Class C IP Address Better server helps but these are not the only factor which Search engine consider there are 100's of factor your website need to be well optimized you need to do link building
Thanks minrevait! I was just sent a link by a colleague... Here is a video from Matt Cutts explaining that page load time is not a factor for SEO. This is good info to know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3zmP0W26M0
I can't give you any link but I can clearly say that is really major factor on seo it is best known seo's rules
@jvfconsulting the website which is speed dosen't hurt you don't pay attention Mat listen your visitors what they want speed websites are loved. He says it dosen't factor seo websites load time then will you buy cheapest hosting ?
The long page load time could not hurt your seo effort as long as it does not lead to "This page is not load" or "Server cannot be found" or "403 Error". The site downtime could be more negative effected in seo than just a page load time. However, I think Google might consider page load time to be more influenced in a soon since they need to deliver best result and the slow loading site might degrade them.
I believe it does ... this may clear the air. http://videos.webpronews.com/2009/11/13/matt-cutts-interview/
If a site takes too long to load then its not a site that Google wants to serve up to a user. Users dont want to wait. Also if a site is taking a long time maybe there are too my third party web entities involved with your site. Including maybe viruese and bad tracking cookies.
