Does order of keywords in URL matter?

    I have read that keywords in your URL doesn't matter that much, however I am curious. Does the order of your keywords matter?

    For instance, would there be a difference between:
    RedCar.com and CarRed.com?

    No it does not matter. But your Backlinks DO matter.

    It matters a little bit. Don;t bother about go to promote and try to get well rank.

    Stick with one order and make sure it is consistent over all SEOed TAGs. Also, Keywords in the domain dont matter to much, but they sure help. you can also use keywords naming the website files. www.domain.com/red-cars.html

    use allinurl:keyword into google to find how many web pages in a result listing have keywords in the urls

    Keywords in the domain name and url help serps. The order matters a little but backlinks are more important factor in ranking.

    It depends upon which domain name you are using. the domain name which are using is the keyword for your products or target then definitely you will get benifit 100% sure.

    Listen foreg. you have domain gadgets.com and your site is selling gadgets so any visitors who will type gadgets in google then your site will be top because its your domain and you get unlimited traffic but ?

    but ? there are possiblities that many sites are there who have very very huge number of backlinks for gadgets then though you have domina gadgets.com it will come after theri site but they should have not thousand but millons of website.
