Does number of posts in a blog affect SEO

Yeah, it was just a simple figure for explanation purposes. I have some posts on my blog that get 40-50 visists per day while other posts get 1 visit per week. But it's the idea of posting good content on a reqular basis and allowing it time to be found by search engine spiders and time to climb the serps. That's why I always say, never post more new articles in 1 day than what your recent posts count is set to. Those internal anchor links to the articles are important and need to sit for a little bit to be found by the SE's

 

Yes and No.

Yes - Lots of original content is the best thing to have to get good traffic and good ranking.

NO - On another forum I visit, this guy posted that his site had been banned from google. When I looked at his site, and did some google searches to see "where" his articles came from, I found that his entire site was duplicate content from other sites. Even though he had around 30,000 articles, everyone of the articles were duplicates from other sites. It looked like the guy bought a database of articles and built his site off of just that database. While looking through the site I did not find a single original article.

Lets say that you have 500 articles. But if those articles are from a bought wordpress database that you imported into your site, and 100 other sites have the same exact article - do no expect good rankings.

 

Well, have question if I have blog and we post say 7 blogs every week of course 7 days week and not really do any link building, or any type seo work for that blog , can we still get traffic?

 

You'll get some, but why no SEO?
