I have seen people crave for do follow links...even i have put a lot of efforts to get one, but as i assume that by doing that we do a lot of harm to our site. We need to create a good balance of no follow.
Not follow link is not count as backlink by google..but its helps to redirect traffic on our website...
No, No follow links don't counted by google as back links. But then too these are helpful to get traffic to your site.
A good question would be where can you find sites that allow google to follow without links without paying. I think that everyware I post is NoFollow
nofollow and dofollow both count as backlinks, however only dofollow will carry linkjuice to your site for the purpose of pagerank. For website traffic however a backlink is a backlink, and that is the end game right. We want backlinks to get more visitors to our sites, so get both nofollow and dofollow.
nofollow count as backlink but has no value in ranking. if you get 1000 nofollow backlinks your ranking effects in search engines eyes will be 0, but if you get 100 dofollow backlinks search engines give value and its increase your ranking in SERP. you can learn more about dofollow and nofollow links
nofollow link count as a back link in google webmaster tools, but in google search link:yoursite.com is not count
Yes it is true sometimes no follow back link is counted as backlink by google sometimes not. No follow link stop flowing page rank.
The No follow links are not made for count as backlinks but they are very helpful for getting the redirected traffic. therefore we should always have a perfect balance between no follow links as well as Do follow links.
I agree with all DP webmasters views about "nofollow link"...Google did not give backlinks to "nofollow link" so we have try to get dofollow link for getting good page rank as well as backlinks...
no follow links do not count as Google back links since Google bot does not follow them. however, visitors can access your site by following your link.
Google didn't cleared this out yet. They never gave a 'no' or 'yes' answer on this question, which means that all the comments above are non-proof. In my opinion: Google doesn't count a nofollow link BUT...think of this: Google is using Facebook and other social media to calculate your ranking. Guess what: Facebook is 100% nofollow! Just something to think about...
