Is anyone here a customer of netfirms.com? What is the expected time of them replying? I sent them an enquiry through 24/7 tech. support form this morning asking is it standard not to recieve a confirmation mail of domain and hosting registration (including passwords and such), it's almost evening CentralEuropeanTime, there is no reply.

I tried to install PHPBB forum they offer with hosting, I got a message 'administator username and password will be sent to your email' in order to get started with forum on my site. 10 hours passed and I haven't recieved any email with admin. username and password. I tried several times.

The only email I got from them is while registering from the sales deparment, they offer 'live sales support' and no 'live technical support'.

Netfirms is in Toronto on Eastern Time. Sometimes I think 24/7 just means that they accept emails/queries/sales 24/7 but doesn't mean that they respond quickly.

After installing PHPBB there was a message 'admin. username/password is emailed to you', that's automated message, I should have received that email automatically, I'm not sure why I didn't for over 10hours now.

I can understand that the 'humane' factor and technical support can be slow. I rechecked I gave them a correct email, I'm not sure if they have problems sending mails to @hotmail.com or they just offer very slow service.

For new registered accounts it takes 24 hours prior you receive a confirmation email and full access to all features, including aditional domain names registration.

3 days passed how I went through the domain/hosting registration process and I didn't recieve any confirmation email, over 24 hours passed how I tried installing services such as PHPBB, Joomla and others, in each of those cases, it said the admin. username and password would be sent to my email (shouldn't it be done automatically by a bot!?).

well they're quite slow in responding to customers, and their live chat has never been "live" again for a couple of months (at least for me)
