does need index page on domain ?

    Well i have domain desi-forumz.com and in that index page i just redirect to desi-forumz.com/forum so will it help if i make index page with some info on desi-forumz.com and put the link to forum on that page like welcome to blah blah click here to enter to forum??

    If you do make an index page, make sure you add some worthwile content to that page alongwith the forum link. Just a welcome message with a 'click to enter forum' link would be of no use.
