Does my site need a disclaimer?

    Hi, I own: http://www.circuitz4u.com/

Some of the circuits I design use mains electricity, and are potentially dangerous.

Do I need a disclaimer incase someone makes one of the designs and hurts themself while making it?, or can I just explain when a client contacts me that it's their responsibility to know how to use electricity safely and stuff?

    Thanks in advance

I don't really see why you would but to be on the safe side why not?

If I told you to jump off a bridge and you did well thats just stupid.

    Doesn't hurt to have one.

I'm no law expert, but if you have a fairly popular site, then it might be better to have one.

It's always a good idea to have disclaimer. It won't necessarily keep someone from suing you, but it may make a lawyer think twice about taking someone's case. Also, it may help you get the case dropped at an early stage if you ever are sued.

It's pretty easy to come up with a decent disclaimer, so why not do it?

one day your site will get huge traffic and day by day your visitors will also increase , so its better for you to use a diclamer .

OK, I have drafted up a discaimer, do people think it is good?

It also coveres if I acidentally design something that is copyrighted. Also do I have to put it on my site or could I just email it to my customers?
