Can someone please check my site (in my sig), and tell me you experience slow loading. It loads really slowly for me at times, but I cannot tell if that is just my crummy internet connection.
The pages I am talking about are the forum, and the web directories section (after you are logged in)
    thanks.

hehe getting new members just to up the member count would be rather pointless. The reason is if you are logged in, it shows a list of sites which takes some database queries, and might (although unlikely) slow the site down.

Anyhow since both you and crazy_rob now reported that it works fine, I guess it is just my connection after all.

    thanks.
I did plan to include pagerank later (I even have a pagerank field in the database), but I am stil looking to find a way to get the pagerank info via a php script. (I do not have the time or energy to lookup each directory's pagerank via the toolbar)

obviously, the answers are in your hand!

how could one webmaster design a website
and never think of running an experiment how
well his site would be loaded when using dial-up
    or broadband?

Second to this, have you tried loading your site
on different browser? The most common ones
    are IE, FireFox, Netscape..

Yes, images are necessary. When it does matter,
think of using .gif or .jpg

Loaded quick here in Firefox on the west coast of canada. I joined too ;)

You really should utilize that space at the top instead of having a dark blue bar there, jmho.

Loaded pretty quickly. I run Broadband though, so that makes a big difference. I didn't encounter any problems.
