Does My Site Got Penalized?

I have a website that i was building links manualy to it and i was getting good results, freind of mine recommend me to use "linxboss" to improve the backlinks, i admit i didnt know what exactly is the service but i decided to give it a "go". i was using it for a week until i heard linxboss uses a blackhat tactics and spam blogs, I immediately remove my site from there.
Now i dont know if its got to do with them or not but my site is no longer get visitors from organic traffic...
If i search for the URL of my site i can see my site indexed..
If i search for random text i can also see my site in google...
I recently got allot of links from blog comment that i'v made maybe its that.

Well it doesn't seem like you've been banned so that's a good thing. I would suggest you stay away from "get backlinks quickly" schemes as those never end up being beneficial long term.

Chances are at this point you have to wait it out, continue adding unique content to your site and see what Google does then.

Are you still ranking for targeted keywords or have you lost the longtail traffic? If your page is still indexed and showing up in results, then you may need to rewrite the meta description, so it is more attractive to potential searchers...

Maybe the Panda update have to do something with it. Are you ranking the same for your targeted keywords from where you use to get traffic. If you have seen a major dip(20-40 positions), submit a reconsideration request for "site ranking poorly than before" option but make sure to check the whole site for broken links, duplicate content and all the webmaster guidelines by google. And links pointing to you or competitor spamming links toward your site cant hurt your ranking as its written in the Google webmaster guidelines. So its not the links, if you lost some rankings maybe your site have some issues what I wrote earlier or your old links don't have that much value now, so keep building links naturally and quality ones of course, you will get your traffic back

 

Thanks guys thats good news, there were several long tail keywords that i was ranked in first page for about 3 weeks..those ranking are now gone..maybe the linxboss buried these long-tails because that i was putting there?
another question is how can check for duplicate content an entire site rather then page by page?

btw i will go throgh the webmaster guidelines now
