Does my site comply with Google Adsense

So I've had a site running for about a year now. I've applied for Google Adsense but they continuously give me the same reason that they have before for not approving.

The website is an art community, the content purely revolves around artists and their artwork. You can view the site here: www.artrift.com So each time they've told me that their is insufficient content. HOW CAN THAT BE? I think the google bots might be on something. Here is the email that they've sent me for the 3rd time:

Please, tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe the content is perfectly relevant to the site. And the navigation is straight forward. Any advice will be well appreciated. Thanks

Google is absolutely right. There is no content on your site - only images. If you want to get accepted by Adsense, you need to have words attached to each image, because they need at least some content to crawl in order to display relevant ads.

Google doesn't want a site just full of images. They want to figure out what the site is all about and the Google bots will crawl out text from your site to figure it all out.

Yep, exactly. You don't actually have any content on your website. I'm wondering if maybe unique alternative text on all of your images would help your efforts.

You will not get approved until you add some contents to your website.
