In Safari the bottom of that stripe you have across the top is showing through the content... But Opera, IE 6, 7 and Firefox all look the same here.... and in IE 5.x it looks ok apart from not centering (text-align:center on BODY should take care of that one)... Only one real 'issue' to me: I have to say I really don't care for how it only renders about half the height of my display with the scrollbar in the center instead of the side - it makes the page look broken... likewise the black border on the sides of the header not continuing down into the content - with the image background not lining up also makes it LOOK like the page is broken. The lack of mouse-over effects on the links also detracts - and the page degrades to non-image/non-css poorly because you made the entire header one solid image with a image map instead of slicing it up properly. Still, loads of potential in there.
Now that is just plain lazy.... plus not knowing how it is "supposed to look" something may look fine to me but may be missing a vital menu or such. It looks the same on my copy of FF 2 as it will have done on yours
i checked your website on firefox and flock and looks very good to me. i dont know if iframing that news content is a good idea though.
I would definately wait to add a forum until you have a loyal blog readership (and a relatively large and chatty one to boot). Otherwise, if you add the forum now, you may not have a lot of posts on the forum, and it will give a false impression of your site being dead and abandoned like an Old West ghost town.
