Hi Everyone, Here's my site: www.greenoproducts.com/catalog We sell biodegradable disposable tableware to restaurants. The site's not complete yet but its pretty much 95% done. Our site designer sucks!!...it just seems they used a template and basic OS Commerce which according to them is not as flexible as I'd like it to be. The thing is, our products are not glamorous products like shoes, clothing, watches where you can display cool images with bright colors etc... Knowing that, what things would you suggest I change/modify/add??? Thanks a million everyone!
Hi I visited your site and in my humble opinion it was really good. It is clean and fresh looking. It wasn’t cluttered but had all the info I needed (not too much more than that) and good clear images. It was simple to navigate and professional enough for me. I am sure we could sit and pick any site to pieces if we really wanted to (and I would if there any obvious issues for me) but the site does what it is designed to do so for me I have to say – nice job! Well done.
In my opinion you need to change the font in the Contact Us screen. Looks like you copy and pasted that in there. Even if that is the case if can look better.
I personally love it, make sure you learn a bit about SEO and optimize it a little. You have a great open market to reach and make a killing!
On the surface, looks great. It is clean, devoid of clutter just as environmentally friendly products, and the planet should be. I did not click through the site. I strictly went on what I got from the first impression and my first impression was that I would stay on the site and buy if I was this market if I was drawing my conclusion from presentation alone. I am certain there is some on page SEO that will have to be done to make sure it is search engine friendly. If you are looking at speed to market, you can go now. Map out what your tweaks in a weekly journal with your designer as not to miss out on making any money period. I am only suggesting this if you are hesitant about launching due to it not being 100% I hope this helps.
I like it, it is pretty basic, but basic gets the job done. Don't get too fancy with your site, if you can display your products well that is what will make sales.
Well I was expecting something terrible from your question - but I also really like it! Fresh, clean, inviting - I'd change the meta title to have some keywords in, and change the text in the image on the homepage to actual text search engines can see, and try and get the case sizes to appear next to the price on the category pages, but other than that I don't see much wrong with the design!
I think it looks great. One thing I noticed though is that when you go to the main product page that lists all of the items, you have prices there but you don't state the quantity. Otherwise, I think the site is great. Chris
Also, you should make the About Us, Sustainability, etc pages actual text and not an image. It will help your search engine rankings.
Looks good, but my only feedback is with the green apples on the main page. Surely that space can be used for something else?
